The Alycats

The Alycats is a nom de plume for a dedicated team of award-winning photographers embracing successful international careers in photojournalism, commercial, and fine art photography. The name ‘Alycats’ was created exclusively to feature and sell African wildlife fine art prints to benefit the Singita conservation programmes.

For over 20 years the Alycats have had the privilege to be guests at Singita’s game reserves in Africa.  They witnessed the Singita Group’s commitment to the protection of mother earth’s greatest assets, the noble animals that inhabit the African continent and the pristine wilderness where they roam.

They have learned how Singita has lead the way in conservation to combat the uncontrolled hunting and rampant poaching that has decimated African wildlife populations. The Alycats personal experience of being in the bush, garnering knowledge from the highly trained trackers and guides, amplified first-hand the sheer magnitude of conservation challenges.

The inspiration for the Alycats was borne out of their immense admiration and respect for the unswerving work Singita undertakes to protect this incomparable landscape and their desire to support Singita through the medium of fine art wildlife photography print sales. To that end,

30% proceeds of all print sales will be donated to the Singita conservation programme.

The Singita Safari Lodges

The magnificent wildlife of Africa is under extreme threat from the footprint of man encroaching on its natural territory and the avarice of poachers.  Singita’s role as their custodian is to ensure these gifts of nature are protected for future generations.

Singita have been preserving African wilderness for more than 25 years. Through an exceptional safari experience with 12 award-winning lodges and camps across South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, Singita is able to work with local partners to substantially contribute to the protection and preservation of the land and existing wildlife populations.

Singita’s partner conservation funds and trusts are entirely not-for-profit. Learn more about their conservation programmes at:
